You think there's some hanky panky going on with the construction bids?

Just paying TOP dollar, which seems to be the trend in College Football. You have to have better toys than the everyone else.

Is that the same indoor facility they are planning with a large thick glass pane as one side of the vaulted roof? :lmao:

I think the indoor practice facility is huge, not just for football, but track, soccer, and other field sports.

This is florida and practices get cancelled regularly in the months of June - Sept, primetime for many of our key sports.

Glad we put this over an OCS.

And no matter how you feel about UCF's practice facility, it is 1000 times better than our indoor practice facility today. That is a selling point and they are fortunate.

yeah I agree. no way should sports be played outdoors.

we shouldn;t subject these poor athletes to the conditions they would find in actually playing the games. I say they tear down the business building and put it there.

It's about the lightning.... troll on

how many practices are cancelled every year due to weather?

did UF need an indoor practice field for nearly 100 years in order to deal with lightning issues?

where does the unnecessary spending on athletics stop?

Does UF have lightening problems like we do?

what lightning problems do we have?

like I said, how many practices had to be rescheduled in the past?

not cancelled but just rescheduled.

oh what a terrible inconvenience, let's build a $14M indoor practice field!

did you know that the state of florida has 5 of the top 20 schools in the country for total student athletics fees charged to students?

that's a disgrace. we are building football factories in this state . not centers for higher learning.

Nobody has lightning like the Tampa Bay area does.
