Guess I could understand them refusing to let him goto the other schools. If he truly wants to be closer to home then USF would be the school from a distance standpoint. You might question if he wanted to goto FSU, which is far drive to where he is from.

he could be great speaking to local prospects on their visit to USF about how not even being at the premier program in the country (got their own TV network first) makes up for the angst of being away from family.

Also about having your family come watch you locally. Always a huge plus.

any chance ND is purposefully helping BE schools by eliminating UF, FSU & UM from consideration by a young man whose primary reason for switching schools is to get home?

After the way Kelly "lost it" in the game against us, I really can't see him doing us any favors.

Its notre dame one of the most storied programs in college football not a shock a decade old school lost a recruit to them.

Winning the big east and some bcs games will get that turned around though.

Could be one of the great "Gets" of USF from a recruiting perspective, but many challenges remain before we see him playing for us Sept of 2013.

I'm sure he wants to get a fresh start, and USF would be a great place to make that happen!
