The buzz is this is Coach Skeeters fault since Waverly was his recruit. Heard he's under a lot of fire, by the way all the players don't even like him.

Coach Skeeters actually has a recruit? Frankly he should be under fire or be fired anyway for eating up all the recruiting budget making those trips to Maryland. It's just ridiculous the amount of time USF spends up there to not get anyone.

Nash transferring is not a big deal. In fact its something I've come to expect now under Heath. He seems to be improving the talent pool at USF and the lower end of the bench has been transferring out

The only way that buzz is true is if Skeeter is totally responsible for getting Austin's paperwork into the proper hands at USF and he didn't do it in a timely manner.

Something similar to this happened at the last minute a few years ago with another 7' center who ended up enrolling immediately at another major university. I believe he played at the dance this past season.

Yes, Teng Akol. He wound up at Okie St. then I think he finished out his career at Western Kentucky. What a blow to our frontcourt, assuming this winds up true.

Fitzpatrick is 6'8" and going to be the starting C? Ouch even if he plays bigger than that that will be hard to overcome against certain teams. Is it too late to bring in another big?

Yep it's to late to bring in anybody that I know of.

IF AUSTIN IS GONE then our main frontcourt people will be White, Fitzpatrick, LeDay, and Rudd.

I just hope that Greg is able to get the real lowdown to the story and provide the names of the people at USF who made this decision. They shouldn't be allowed to hide behind some thin veil of confidentiality. This should see the light of day.

Don't understand how he can be admitted to Oregon so quickly but can't get into USF. Are our standards that much higher now...?
