- A student entrance on the northwest corner of the building, near Champions Choice dining hall, opens into a student section on the west baseline. From there, students can make their way down to the floor and into the 1,500-square- foot “Student Club†under the stands, which features couches, televisions, refreshments and music while students wait for tipoff.

Hopefully they implement a system that only allows entrance from the student entrance, no exit and they HAVE to at least go into the arena to get out ...

YES! I've heard many stories of students attending multiple sporting events in a night by stopping by each event for 5-10 minutes. They would do this to pad their loyalty points.

That's really died down. It was mostly done the first year of the points system, but since then people don't care. Plus athletics has done a decent job of keeping events from overlapping, and when it does happen it's soccer and volleyball.

As for the student section and lounge in the arena, they're still working out the details. I suggested to them that the lower section should be for students who request their basketball tickets ahead of time online and that also allows them into the lounge. I'm pretty sure they also have plans to close the lounge while the game is going on.
