Neinas is being replaced shortly... multiple reports that a search committee is gathering to look for a new B12 leader... wonder if schools are unhappy with the way he has handled this situation...

They have no one to blame but Texas and ESPN.

He was always a short term fix. He is up there in years and has done fairly well with his consulting gig. I just don't think he really wants to be a Commish very long. It could well be unrelated.

WVU & Big East have mediation date Feb. 9. That's coming fast. Wonder if either wants to get to that date. Might explain scheduling delay.

Also note there are some rumors here in WVU Land Big 12 Commish will be Oliver Luck once this is all settled.

I think the Big East / WVU negotiations will go a long way in deciding whether Luck is the new B12 commish or not.
