Some sort of quote from an unnamed source would have been nice but all the author says is "some quiet buzz." Where is this buzz coming from is what I want to know... for all I know it could be coming from the bulls pen.

The closest thing to a source the writer has is, "There is some quiet buzz..." This is just rampant speculation by the author so he can look back at it and say, "look, I knew this was going to happen." on the off chance that it actually does.

If Mizzou leaves and the B12 needs to get to 10 teams in 2012 for their TV deal, they aren't going to be looking at the BE with a 27 month waiting period. They're gonna go elsewhere. Either BYU or Boise maybe? It won't be USF and it won't be WV or UL.

I don't believe a word of it, but even if it's true, we'll be as much of an orphan in the B12 as we were in the BE.

I'm still hoping FSU gets nabbed by the SEC and the ACC picks us up as a replacement. Anything else is second best.
