UCF claims they are on schedule with USF in 2014

Just curious. If the deal was anything other than a home and home series (meaning USF benefits more), would you be okay with signing a deal to play UCF?

Agreed. I hope Woolard offers 2 for 1 and we'll revisit in 3 years. If they don't like it, they can go schedule F-A/I-U or South Dakota State again, or go beg UF or UM for more beatdowns.

And so we can meet Mr. Godfrey? There you go again, playing that what IF game. I guess since we're playing, we'll introduce you to Matt Floyd, Terrence Mitchell, Elkino Watson, and [insert random 4 or 5 star pick here]. herp derp durrrr

The only real reason I agree with not scheduling them is to make them look like clowns when they do stuff with this.

No one in the country is going to look at this game and think we are deigning ourselves by playing UCF.  The OSU plays Cincy, WVU plays Marshall, Penn State plays Temple... Big time programs play little brother programs all the time to no real detriment their reputation.  If anything, this is an opportunity to prove to the college football world that UCF is that little brother program to us. 

Good Lord, please take off the Green and Gold goggles!! We are NOT a big time program like Ohio State, not even as big as WVU ... but to play along ... OSU has played Cincy 4 times and is scheduled for 2 more. 5 did or are taking place AT OSU. WVU's deal with Marshall isn't quite as one sided but is still in favor of WVU. If we're going to play UCF, with nothing to gain, we should at least get the home games in our favor ... which, of course, UCF won't agree to because they are God's gift to college football.

To add to that. OSU is required by Ohio law to play the other universities in the state (Ohio, Akron, Cinci, Bowling Green).
