What do they consider a shambles?  The fact that the guy that was supposed to be the star on the team has sucked this year?  the same kid that is on his third school in 4 years because he didn't like the ACC rules? 

I hate these "my sources told me" crap.  Let's just see how things pan out.  "Sources close to the team" could also mean that the source is friends with a couple of players that aren't getting playing time or whatever and they are just spouting their own opinions.

A friend of mine with inside info of the program told me in an email that the program was about to be in shambles but he couldn't elaborate right now. He told me this yesterday morning, so if he I hear anything I'll post it.

If you're going to post it, post a verifiable source with it ...

I highly doubt the "program is in shambles." Who the hell is "JoshD" anyways? Heath is a players coach. Gilchrist just sounds like a little primma donna baby. Good riddance. If you dont want to be a team player, see you never Gilchrist. The team will be just fine without you. This isnt last year where we were desperate for big guys. Cant cut the cheese at MD, cant cut it at USF....NBA my ass.

This situation speaks worse for Gus than Heath.  This smacks of no heart or loyalty.  Anyone who has played in sports has had to play at some time for a coach they didn't like.  Even in the worst of situations, I couldn't have imagined not playing especially if it was MY CHOICE to bench myself! 

Give him an ultimatum.  Be at practice today or pack your bags.

As for the shambles comment.  We were already there.  Jones was able to hold a lot of the pieces together.  With or without Gus, this was going to be a rough year in the BE and it doesn't look to be getting better as we seem to whiff on every highly regarded recruit we've targeted.  At least that's my opinion watching as a casual bb fan.
