I think Weatherford is the QB of the future here. Maybe switch BJ to WR next season after he could have a full offseason to prepare for it. I personally think BJ could be a very good WR ie Randel El. But I think BJ is the QB this year; Eveld sure as hell isn't the answer Weatherford at this point in his SR year has 1 more TD, 2 less INTs, 700 less yards on half the passes that Eveld had all year last season. Oh and his completion percentage is 66.3% compared to Eveld's 54.9% last season. Those calling for a "better QB" there just isn't one on this roster... yet.So another " transition year" next year with a true freshman? I agree on Eveld, but would like to see Gunsby.

To note, I was not all that impressed by BJ last year. He had some good games, but any team with a decent defense did exactly what WVU did last night to him.Matt was a really good QB in high school. He was a two-time first team Class 4A All-State selection, was named the Lakeland Ledger Player of the Year twice, and as a senior, he was named to the Super Southern 100 by the Atlanta Journal Constitution, was named the Class 4A Player of the Year, was a finalist for Mr. Football in the state of Florida, and was named the Old Spice Red Zone Player of the Year. Grothe led his team to the state championship football game against Armwood High School. Grothe passed for 2,700 yards and ran for 1,250 yards as a senior. He passed for 33 touchdowns and rushed for 15 touchdowns. To compare BJ and Grothe is just silly.

Put him in the slot, add some depth to reciever, and bring in the Guns.

If they were outside the 35 I would get it. Now its game over.Exactly. Bench the HC who called the stupid play?

I think we have too much overall talent as a team to allow him to consistently underperform this way, with way too much at stake. If we keep this offense running the same way with BJ Daniels leading it we are in for a long second half; one with no more WINS.
