I'm pleased with the hire, he was the best option available. He has won conference championships which is very important. He has been mentored by two Hall of Fame Coaches. He knows alot of coaches and should be able to build a solid staff and not have the turnover Leavitt had. I'm glad we brought in new blood, we needed a change. I hope his father can help with recruiting as well, it only helps he works at ESPN. Lots of positives but at the end of the day he has to win, this program has too much potential to go 8-5 every year.

Like the hire.  Was impressed with his interactions with his players during the Liberty Bowl (especially that kicker before his last miss).  Maybe he can get us over the mid season swoons and get more consistent play.  Process was handled well, quiet, no public rejections.
