He has a great track record. I know someone  who's son played for him at ECU and loved him.

He's hired good coaches and is more than ready to coach BCS.

Possibly best of all, we moved quickly. None of this stuff where first choice declines, second choice declines, and settle.

Holtz is the right man at the right time.

I still hope that time heals and allows Coach Leavitt the credit he deserves for getting the program so far in such a short period of time.

the only hope for programs like USF to sustain greatness is to get a great coach who has personal reasons to stay.  His folks are in Orlando and hers are in Port Charlotte.  Lets see, what city is half way between them.  Tampa!

Great hire if he works out and well worth giving him the chance.

I think its a great hire. One of the up and coming coaches in college football is gonna be our coach. I think in 2-3 years we'll have a big east title with him.
