I give up-- I am officially leaving the beating of the dead horse topic. I'll just watch the games and be a fan and forget I have soe message board to talk aboutthis crap anymore because I'm exhuasted by this non-stop BS exhibited by these people pretending to be so concerned about the program but restating the same tired complaints. I know that won't stop anyone. But even Muhammed Ali needed someone to stop the fight when enough was enough. consider me MikeG-Frozen-In-Carbonite My complaint is Bulls Basketball has become boring and laughable. I am a football season ticket holder and fly down from DC for almost every game. I would never get on a plane to come watch this basketball team. You have to realize that not every Bulls fan is going to be as hardcore as some. That is evident by the number of fans that attend basketball games. Put a program out there that is respectable and people will show up. I don't care what world you live in (even if it is green and gold), a Big East team losing to teams like Richmond, Texas A&M - Corpus Christy, Bethune Cookman consistantly is unacceptable. I really don't care who's falt it is. The fact of the matter is that as long as this is occuring, Bull Basketball will be a joke and the majority of fans will not support it. That is reality, and some of the people on here need to take off the green and gold glasses and realize it.

Watching Bulls Basketball is shrill, repetitive and boring. Here's to another great year!

Visiting team almost always brings the refs

We are not a cinderella story and never should be... USF plays in the Big East and therfore should be expected to compete with the nations best and make it deep into the tourney... USF making it to the final four is in no way even close to George Mason making it...

I already make a contribution to our embarassment of a program. However, I am willing to give more money to end the embarrasment of Coach MAC.

Our basketball program is the disgrace

Well then I will be the first to donate $2000 to a fundraising account thats sole purpose is to buy out MAC's contract. This is not in support of hiring Huggins but rather showing a coach that is ineffective and can't win the door. If 399 more people donate the same, money will no longer be the issue.

Only 399 more people away from putting the embarassment behind us. I know you hard core fans on here love to support MAC for what an upstanding induvidual he is and the difficult situations that he has had, but the mere fact still remains that you MUST find a way to win. The majority of USF fans are not like the supporters on this board. Most of us only care about one thing and that is winning. That is a fact, whether the people on this board like it or not. This Basketball team is an embarrassment to the University image. People here in the north laugh at us and say we don't belong in the Big East (which is true at moment). It's time to take off the green and gold glasses and face the reality that if we dont make a change our basketball program will die.

JEWBULL is correct in stating that RMAC needs to go. He is a small conference coach that now faces the best basketball conference in the nation. For you supporters, I am sorry that only losing by four points and the occasional upset of a big time team is acceptable to you. It is not for me, and that is all that this coach is capable of. I want a team that puts up more “W’s†in the win column than “L’s†in the loss column. I really don’t care how upstanding and individual the coach is. It comes down to can they win, and he has proven that short of a miracle or a mediocre team, he can not. It should alarm you that your only expectations of this coach is that his team doesn’t get blown out by double digits. Other teams have injuries, off the court troubles, bad grades, etc. However these teams still find ways to win, and in sports winning is all that matters. MAC’s team is the worst in the Big East, his recruits are sub-par to other Big East recruits, and he doesn’t win the games he should win. These are the “totally logical†reasons that HE MUST GO!!

I attended the game last year in which he tore threw the Armwood defense with his arm. He did not appear to be a quarterback that has the natural inclination to scramble. He only scrambled in that game when the pocket collapsed, and he was forced to. The majority of the time he stayed in the pocket and delivered the pass. The fact of the matter is that he would have beaten that great Armwood team had it not been for a few miscues by other teammates. In that game Booker T. Washington used a combination of both a base offense, and a spread offense. There were plenty of times when they had four of five wide outs and he delivered the ball to them with precise accuracy. This guy is a true quarterback who can throw but also has the ability to run when needed (Vick-Va. Tech and Hagens-UVA are good examples). Whether he can develop into a great player remains to be seen, but the skills are there. I was very impressed with what I say first hand from this athlete, and at the time he was only junior. I would hope that he would continue to progress this year, and come to USF ready to compete. Here is a novel idea, why don’t we give him the chance to be a bust, before we being labeling him one?

You should assume that I was referring to your previous post, and that I was talking about our victory against Louisville which was by over 30 points. Since that is the victory that your prefaced your giving the game to us statement with. And I must say that although your points in garbage time kept you from getting beat as handily as them, your beating was none the less severe. Is this the only argument that you could muster up to try to make UCF seem like they are in a better place? I guess in the same way you fail to see my argument, I fail to see yours. But I guess when you are at the very bottom there is only one way to go.  Enjoy the GMAC bowl or the toilet bowl or whichever other nameless one that you believe you may make. Anybody in touch with reality realizes that it is still a stretch for you to make any. I guess in the land of the blind the one eyed man is king. Personally speaking, I am just fine with where you are as well. Enjoy your wonderful conference and the fun road trips to Tulsa and Utah. Yeah and Im sure that Central Florida handed us the victory as well. Beating a team by over 30 points is not them handing a victory over, that is taking a victory away from them. Face it, USF is in a much better position and place than UCF. Argue what you want about your conference, but if you are at all true to yourself you will realize that the likes of the fighting Mustangs and the Golden Hurricanes, do not even compare to the likes of West Virginia and Louisville. Heck for comparison sake they don’t even compare to the likes of Rutgers and UConn. To even compare the direction that USF is going with the direction that UCF is going is asinine and foolish. USF has far surpassed any place that UCF has ever been. The fact that I am even responding lends you some credence, but fans like yourself need to continue to support your team will being able to grip onto some form of reality. By no means do I think that South Florida is a national champion, or that the Big East is the best football conference. But the fact is, is that both USF and the Big East are light years ahead of UCF and Conference USA.
