I sure do hope the name Yankee Bowl doesn't stick. I'd prefer Big Apple Bowl or a throwback to the original NYC bowl, the Gotham Bowl. Anyways, check out the field alignment, sideline seats are going to be horrible:

The story linked to says it would be the 35th bowl game. I sure do hope the name Yankee Bowl doesn't stick. I'd prefer Big Apple Bowl or a throwback to the original NYC bowl, the Gotham Bowl. With the Steinbrenners calling the shots, maybe it can be named after the Yankees MVP each year. I can't wait to see the Jeter Bowl. Anyways, check out the field alignment, sideline seats are going to be horrible: There are a couple regular season games there coming up, so we should get a good idea then how the seating will look. I would bet on them adding seats along the sidelines if at all possible. College football games were being scheduled there almost as soon as the stadium opened, so it seems accommodating a football field is something that would have been figured out during the planning.
