Final Spring Game thoughts

i was occasionally confused about whether to be happy at the success of a play or disappointed that the other side allowed it.

i think the better the offense looks in spring the better our team will be.

we all love wally but i am really excited about the new DC and the talent he has to work with.

BJ made some dazzling moves out there.  I am interested to see how many carries he had.  He just needs to iron out the decision-making.  But he's got another year of watching and mop-up duty.  His arm strength is amazing as well.

Only thing I didn't like was the amount of penalties on offense.

Bedford impressed me the most.

I was very happy to see Colby Erskin not only in uniform, but making the final TD reception at the end of the game.  After all he has been through, it must have been great to be out there again.

They had him back as a PR, but they didn't allow returns.  I'm anxious to see if he hasn't lost too hasn't lost too much of the speed he had when first arrived here.

Only one suggestion.

Next time have the police stand on the opposite 40-Yard line to keep the crowd from the rest of the field.

I would have love to have gotten a photo with my family on the "U" at midfield, but they wouldn't let us go that extra 10 yards to get to it.

Just thought it would have been kind of neat to have in the collection....

i thought it was funny that before the spring game, people were so pumped about our TRANSFER and JUCO offensive linemen.. then were all of a sudden freaked out because they realized how crappy our o-line was at the spring game.. what the hell did you guys expect?  they are TRANSFERS.. on the o-line, we're gonna be screwed this year.

I'm watching it now, about 3 minutes into the second, as for I couldn't go last night. 

But I'm liking BJ's athleticism and he's making good decisions. 

I really liked landi on his touchdown drive, but that was really his shine so far.  That pick was easily preventable.

Our o line is going to struggle this year, I hop Grothe will be ready.

Mcclain is so far a beast.
