Who cares. Media guys are mostly dorks who wish they had any athletic ability anyways. Cardieri was Leavitts buddy and he did him wrong a few years back. I know that is one reason he hates his guts

They thought it was GREAT!There's little doubt McMurphy would do great harm if given the chance. I don't blame Leavitt one bit if he comes across as defensive or caring of the kids he coaches and the program he's committed to. What is McMurphy committed to? They thought it was GREAT!Yes...as in DEAD MAN WALKING.Marinelli might be lucky to be the TE coach on a pop warner team next year.Wrong as usual - you obviously didn't see it yourself. They said he was a good man and a great teacher and would probably end up as a line coach or even coordinator on another team. They were behind his actions with the media. You clearly are jaded by your anti-everything even remotely connected to Jim Leavitt or USF bias. Face it, some things just don't work out...like Marinelli in Detroit and O'Leary at UCF. Both have been successful elsewhere, but success at their current stops seems unattainable.

Well haven't bull fans on this board been screaming for YEARS for Leavitt to fix their penalty problem (i.e. almost always in the Top 5 in most penalties per year)???(This one from last month)http://thebullspen.com/index.php?topic=55795.0Then the media writes an article (about the very same subject many of you have been bashing Leavitt on for a very long time) and now the media person is the BAD GUY?PS. Greg Auman mentioned the above, but of course he twisted being the worst in penalties might be a good thing, which most on this board have strongly disagreed with over the past few years.NOTE: I'm honored that Greg used my research for another one of his articles. ;Dhttp://blogs.tampabay.com/usf/2008/10/fewer-penalties.html
