This is not just a Brett issue, if I remember correctly, the SPTimes writer was threatened to be arrested last year for walking around Leavitt.  Also, Jim has a tendency to use the media when he wants but does not like to be questioned when things go wrong.

First, I thought it was pretty funny.  The slamming of the podium puzzles me.  My guess it was just an emphasis that the conference was over and that he wasn't going to answer Brett's question.

I think he did answer the question after he tells Brett to "stay with that stuff."  He says:  "I think it's pretty neat, pretty neat."

I don't know why the local media even bothers attending CJL pressers.  It consists of little to no information, is full of cliché and “coach speak†and lasts all of 2 minutes.

It's why I stopped watching the CJL show a few years ago.  If you've seen one, you've seen them all.

Wasn't really Leavitt-related at all. The security folks at Connecticut last year took exception with the media approaching players in the area specifically designated for interviewing players. It was one of those "if you don't take a step back" type threats. Good times!

Leavitt embarrassed USF sunday night after the game.  Can't imagine how anyone could disagree.

I definitely feel like we are at the "beginning of the end" of the CJL era.

I like Leavitt but i can't stand his "Anything else?" at the end of every question.
