hate to say it but USF will NEVER be a big time national program with CJL's PR skills

say what you want about Brett but CJL has to be the least media-friendly coach in the nation.

ok well Brett has to be the most anti team beat writer in the country. He has nothing positive to say about the bulls because of his personal vendetta against leavitt.

Every time I read the about the bulls through the writing of Mr. McMurphy, I usually get quite peeved as it almost always seems to have a negative slant. In fact, Brett almost appears to ENJOY posting negative aspects concerning the BULLS.  Greg Auman is so much better and his coverage is much more enjoyable to read.  Coach Leavitt was just reacting to Brett's constant "jabs" and quite frankly, it was a pleasure to watch.  He is a coach who sticks up for his team.

but it doesnt change the fact that CJL needs to realize that he needs the media more than the media needs him

How funny is this clip of Leavitt talking to McMurphy about being postive?  This can easily be used for any Coors Beer Commercial. Since it is college football it can not be used.

(Best to go 1:55 minutes in so you can see him shake McMurphy's hand)

It's not funny at all... actually quite the opposite... Is there something personal between Brett and CJL??? You're coach has to deal with the media... especially the beat writer for the paper that is the corporate partner with the team... This could blow up big time.
