It won't do a thing for your (our) cause. Accept the fact that it isn't that easy. That we need to change people's THINKING not whether they have a beer in their hands. A beer has 5% alcohol. You don't give them that, they're going to sneak in pocket shots or flasks. FYI, much higher percent of alcohol--just in case you are so far out of touch that you don't realize that. I guess I shouldn't care. Ban it or don't, it'll be the same. Sobering up for three hours won't do enough to help those who are throwing up as they walk in, and chugging a beer before they get felt up by security. MAB said it himself:People are going to abuse their livers with this stuff regardless of circumstance. Why try to ban it? So you can prove that you can? Horse sh1t. Maybe they could have that for people that don't want to be around the drunks. I spent the past 3 years in the student section where a LOT of beer is consumed. It didn't seem that bad there. I just moved to the south side of the stadium this season, but I've never seen anything that would make me think everyone should be banned from drinking. Must be a lot worse in other sections ???You won't see a lot of bad things in the south endzone because its 98% USF fans. The problems are when there are large sections of visiting fans or on the way out of the stadium. Most of the stuff i saw on Friday was either on the stairwell on the way down or just outside the gates of ray jay on the way to my parties car. Just curious, did you and anyone else who witnessed this stuff going on do anything to intervene?! We need to get rid of these bad apples!! Not just for that one game, but forever!!! Perhaps we should experiment, and see how loud rayjay is without drunk fans. It would probably be REALLY rowdy. :

I know I'm going to take some heat for this but it sounds like a cheaper the ticket the worse the fan. I donate a lot of money for the privilege of being a season ticket holder and wouldn’t want my tickets revoked because of getting to drunk and acting like an ass but someone who pays 10 bucks for a ticket and has no or little ties to USF has nothing to lose by being an a-hole.
