Is it time to stop selling beer at USF Football games?

Should USF ban the sale of alcholo during football games at Raymond James?

The number of posts and stories we're hearing about bad USF fans has made me think there needs to be a discussion about how much of this is alcohol related.

To be sure, it's hard to control things that happen before the game... but it may be time to at least entertain the thought of not selling beer at USF football games, along with a significant increase in patrols and arrests for underage drinking.

Thoughts?

I have no problem either way ... anyways, it's not our(USF's) call.

I like being able to drink a beer at the game, but 1-2 is my limit so it wouldn't bother me.

Go BULLS !!!

If it was possible to stop selling beer to ASS*&@es then no.  That is not possible so remember:

The Student Athletes play the game, they take the hits, and idiot drunk adolescent fans make it a bad experience for everyone - Bulls and competition alike. Bullieve it or not people go and watch the games b/c it is an American Pass Time.

Be RESPECTABULL - CJL is all in so why not you?

Get on board!

almost 99% of the fans drink BEFORE the game at tailgates, and then cause problems. You have to regulate on the bad fans as they cause trouble instead of taking everyone's right away.

I don't think it's the beer that is sold inside, it's the beer drank outside. Go walk around the student and other lots and all you see are huge parties with multiple kegs. When you mix that with a 7PM game in which they start to drink at noon, 1, 2, etc is where we have a problem. what it should come down to is self control and respect for yourself and the school. Not seling it at the game will maybe sober a few people up but won't cange what we hear about. You want to fix the problem you stop selling and allowing consumption in the lots and I don't see that ever happening.
