I know I'm going to take some heat for this but it sounds like a cheaper the ticket the worse the fan. I donate a lot of money for the privilege of being a season ticket holder and wouldn’t want my tickets revoked because of getting to drunk and acting like an ass but someone who pays 10 bucks for a ticket and has no or little ties to USF has nothing to lose by being an a-hole.I have also read alot about stuff happening while fans are walking to or from the game! How do you know these people are sitting in the 300 section?!

Heck....everytime we have hosted WVU, their fans are liquored up, obnoxious and based on how we have handled them itiching to start trouble. You are always going to have some drunken @sshole hell I even was yelled at on my way to the car during the Auburn game but I am talking about the problems in the stands. When I walk out of another teams stadium I know I'm going to get some looks and the F-U USF or you suck that is to be expected but having people start with you in the stands that gone a little to far. This is the reason why I didn’t go to the UCF game and I think other teams are going to say the same about us now.

Maybe they could have that for people that don't want to be around the drunks. I spent the past 3 years in the student section where a LOT of beer is consumed. It didn't seem that bad there. I just moved to the south side of the stadium this season, but I've never seen anything that would make me think everyone should be banned from drinking. Must be a lot worse in other sections ???You won't see a lot of bad things in the south endzone because its 98% USF fans. The problems are when there are large sections of visiting fans or on the way out of the stadium. Most of the stuff i saw on Friday was either on the stairwell on the way down or just outside the gates of ray jay on the way to my parties car. Just curious, did you and anyone else who witnessed this stuff going on do anything to intervene?! We need to get rid of these bad apples!! Not just for that one game, but forever!!!Spending a night in the pokey for putting a drunk to sleep isn't my idea of fun. I have a short temper so i try to avoid trouble when i can. I agree with you, but something has to be done to get rid of these bad apples! Getting rid of the sale of alcohol at the games isn't going to do it!! Keep that head in the sand its much cooler down there : Most of the stuff i saw was drunken idiots running up to anyone in blue and screaming expletives in their faces and in some cases some physical contact. This is an issue whether you like it or not.

I love the fact that they serve beer at our games. Beer and football go hand in hand. Don't punish the rest of us because some people don't know how to hold their liquor. There are drunk Fs at every game--Hey, UCF doesn't serve beer at their stadium, and they have their share of a-holes at the games for sure.We have it so great that we can go grab a cold one during the game. It's a beautiful thing.

I don't think stopping the sale of beer, of which I drink very little, is really going to impact things one way or the other. And let's face it...there's a lot of folks who are just spoiling to scrap, and have marginal interest in what's going on on the field. I'm leaning more towards and entrance exam. :-*

Guest JulmisteForPrez
I've only known alcohol to contribute NEGATIVELY to the atmosphere.********.i've been going to games for years and beer never spoiled my good time.I have no doubt about that.Is it ever the drunk idiot whose "good time" is spoiled.Survey says.....NO.It's always the inebriated moron who is disrupting & abusing....ruining it for those who have self-control.
