With Ford and Taylor having 3 years of eligibilty left, we should be OK this year if it were to happen, but I hope it doesn't. You hate to lose a player this late in the game. lmiusf Posted January 24, 2008 Group: Member Topic Count: 0 Content Count: 720 Reputation: 0 Days Won: 0 Joined: 09/30/2007 Share Posted January 24, 2008 he probably took notice to how little of a running game Gregory tried to establish all season. Murray commited back in August I think, before he watched a top ranked, 5 star recruit sit the bench most the season. And I mean why not? Ford only ran for over 100 yards in every game he started.....geeeezzzzzzz I was just as impressed with Murray as a DB in the game that I watched him play. He scored 3 TD's as a RB in the first quarter and then picked a pass over the middle on the defensive side and ran it back something like 60 yards. I know that he is a little on the short side for a D1 DB, but always good to have athletes on the team. But like was mentioned before I wouldn't really be that broken up if he left because if Gregory comes to his senses next season, it's gonig to be a heavy dose of Ford and either Samuels or Taylor. We have alot of depth in the back field.

I don't want to get into a debate over premium content again. But, I will say there is no need to worry.Everything is straightened out. He will be a Bull on signing day. Southern Miss is a BIG step down from USF in all fronts except for the ability to maybe play early.
