I'm all for FL schools improving their facilities and all...and knew that the FAU brass were in town to scope our new place last weekend...but JEEZ....can FAU be at least somewhat original??  I really hope this was a concept design to sway their voting...because they basically just cut out our endzone and changed the logo....that's even our original render with our track on the other side!!  Although the stadium is actually on the right side of the track, now.

I don't want to discredit their growth...I with them well...but this kind of pisses me off.  Build something that is YOUR OWN!!  Baahhh...who cares...they'll never fill it.

I'm guessing it'll be called, "Comcast Stadium" or "Direct TV Field" now, too.  ::)

A bare bones OCS is a bare bones OCS. There's not a helluvalot you can do to differentiate them...

:Bang :nope :Duh

Funny that gets mentioned so often...having been to a crowded Tampa Stadium in the Bucs' final year of play, I can see why.  I hated it.  Knees in the back, beer down the shirt.  Sore.  Couldn't stand up - we were on the bleachers wedged in.  Smelly sleeveless obese guy to my right.  Could hardly walk out of the aisle without drilling others in the back.  Cramped and uncomfortable.  No division of seating that got respected like good old seats.  I don't long for those days.

On the other hand, I understand (but don't agree) with MAB's we need it now Dollar Store stadium.  Would be nice to have one now, but not entirely necessary.

Nothing says traditional college football like those things you're whining about ...... Get with the program.

Is something being push forward on this OCS issue?  I wonder if the University is doing something behind close doors. I hope that this is not happen. I'd rather stay the course by continuing to win ball games and being best in the state.  Then we can build a first class stadium thats larger and better looking. But like they always say, when there's smoke, there's fire. Just hope we do the right thing.

“This is not a broken football program by any means. It just needs to be united, to get everybody on the same page, share that same vision, and really to have that standard - best is the standard.”
