Marve has reopened his recruitment and Leavitt will be visiting him at home tomorrow night. He also likes the idea of staying home, per mr usfnation.com, Josh Newberg.

Man, I'd love to see Marve come to USF. Would any of you recruiting pundits consider him a bigger acquisition for USF than Carlton Hill was last year, if Marve indeed does sign a LOI?

Not being a pundit, I would say it is bigger.  Getting a player of his caliber (I have not seen him only read about him), at a position where we do not have a need and not moving him from that position makes him a bigger commit.  Not everyone was recruiting Hill as a QB.  EVeryone is recruiting Marve as a QB.

I completely agree.  I'm sure Marve is confident that he could beat out Voss.

This shouldn't be an issue for Marve though. Most of the best programs have a log jam at QB anyway, just look at LSU. If Marve is good enough he'll get his chance to shine when Grothe leaves (or if he can beat out Grothe sooner).
