i totally agree....when we were at the bowl game in NC last year, i almost got kicked out for standing up...those ushers think they have so much power.....i told him "hello, this is a football game" but they didn't give a crap....i think that's BS....you should be able to stand if you want to!!

Sorry this is football, not a chess tournament.  You should be kicked out for SITTING down more than one defensive series!  

Try telling people to sit at a UF game.  You'd be lynched and rightly so.  

They have no choice @ UF.  They only have bench seats (with no dividers) and you literally only get about 6 inches of bench space per ticket.

That's how they fit 85,000 people in a 70k sized stadium.

Or the Big House where it is 112,000 seats in an 90k area. Most colle stadiums are like that.

I went down to see some friends over in the student section with the hand. I was promptly escorted down to front row,(Thanks all) and stood the whole half. Loved it again and brought back great memories. Then had to go back to the family in my seasoners. What was funny, people over ther told me to stand with the hand!!! Go figure! ;D   Reaper

 I am not renewing my aisle seats next year and am moving over into Mutt's section (although I will not be behind him).  

Well there is plenty of room and most of it is unobstructed.

I pop up when it's right for me, and I stand on occasion also.  I don't have to stand up to have any more enthusiasm for the Bulls, and I think it's ludicrous to have the idea that standing somehow creates more

I went to the Bowl game last year, and the UCF game this year, and nobody around me was standing the whole game, although we were whooping it up quite a bit.

It really can become an area of common courtesy when somebody behind you can't stand easily, or is too short to see well if they do stand.  Sad to say that common courtesy isn't so common in today's "look at me, I'm super fan" atmosphere.

Maybe I still have a little rebellion in me beause I almost never stand when some fan turns around and trys to get everybody to stand up like it's going to mean something big.  I probably made multitudes more noise than he did while sitting down and yelling between and during the plays, but all of a sudden he's a cheerleader.   No thanks.  

Same thing goes for when the PA guy tells you to stand up.  I'll do it when on my terms, not like some puppet.

Mutt has actually lost weight since last season and is under 300 pounds!!!

I was sitting down because it's hard to get up and down in my present condition.  I jump up on REALLY good plays and touchdowns!  And yes we were on a defensive play when everyone should have been cheering and standing.
