All that drama for nothing! It's like taking a hot girl to prom and then not scoring... well... with the kids today and what KatieUSF is teaching them, maybe it's the 3rd grade dance and not scoring. ;D

Are teams getting psyched to play us? No, but that's to be expected and we may snag a win or two that way. Other than that its just hustle and building as good a foundation we can for work ethic and effort.

Our boys are just to pooped come the end of the game. You can't expect a team to play 36-39 minutes a game. You can't win that way. We have enough on the bench now, but Mac is too stubborn to play them. The ratio of points scored vs. rest and revitalization is well worth it. The risk you run in putting the walk ons, especially in a close game, is that the opponent will put the hammer down while they're in there. The position that we are in at the start of every game sucks, but these guys play their hearts out and no team should take them lightly. Billy D, instead of playing the other 6 scholarship guys full time and tiring their players, he played 3 walkons in spurts of 2-3 minutes. It allowed the guys who will be needed to be fresh They ended up still making the tourny. Its a poor excuse in my opinion, these guys are gonna be gassed come mid-feb. I'm not saying we have a shot at the tourny, but it would be nice for the players to have a few wins.

They played down to us.The 'Cuse game, sure they were playing down to us too.But now Georgetown... that's three teams that are either ranked or on the cusp of being ranked that we've taken to the wire. Maybe the reality is that we don't have the horses right now to put up the points we need, but this defense is lights out and deserves a little recognition. A recreational team could keep that game low scoring. I actually thought the game would be in the 40's...
