Just some legend in Key West. He will ask the customers that walk into his Irish Kevin’s pub where they are from and then he & the crowd will yell Who gives a s$&t! After the new customers tell them where they are from.

Not sure what happened here, but it is not a charitable organization per the website

No, Fowler Avenue is not a non-profit charitable 501(c)3 organization. But, if your business becomes a supporter and official partner of Fowler Avenue, it may qualify as an advertising or marketing expense. Please, as always, check with your attorney or accountant as every business may be different.

That's interesting since someone in the Bulls Club told me that the status changed recently.

I was told that there is a third party charity that takes the money, for a fee, and makes it a tax deductible charitable contribution. The money goes through the charity to the Collective.

This is the 501c3 conduit to fowler Ave. Aka a way to count it for tax purposes if you itemize.

So now, if inclined, we make contributions to the Collective or the Support Fund?  This is all getting crazy.

I would reach out to FAC and have that discussion with them to make the best decision for you (and the collective).
