So now, if inclined, we make contributions to the Collective or the Support Fund?  This is all getting crazy.

I think it depends on if you want to itemize or not. If you want to itemize, you use the support fund, if not, then straight to the Collective.

So if I'm comprehending this correctly, you can give straight to the FAC and 100% goes to that organization (I do understand that 100% doesn't go to the players) and not tax deductible. If you give through the FASF it is tax deductible but 100% doesn't get to FAC ...... any idea on how much FASF skims off?

So now we're laundering money through a 3rd party so we can bribe players to come here.   This just keeps getting more and more awesome every day

Just put all the funds into one bucket and let USF athletics decide where to distribute. Add a percentage to the food & beverage and will continue to eat tons so that USF can continue to eat! Go Bulls!!

I found a way to avoid all this confusion and yesterday gave what little reserves I have left to the fine folks running my federal and state governments.  It really took all the discretion out of discretionary spending.

Only if you want it to be tax deductible, which as SilverBull's story illustrated, could be a good thing ...

I'm not sure why it should be tax deductible.  One is giving to a business that pays players to come to USF and play sports

I would reach out to FAC and have that discussion with them to make the best decision for you (and the collective).

I'll probably call Jose once he's back from his vacation and ask him.

This would be the easiest thing.  Instead of giving Iron Bull level and some other $$$ to the NIL, just raise the level needed for IB and don't make me stress over which is the best way to help. But I know CJF recently said NIL.
