  1. I think you are vastly underrating the bromance!!! It’s special.
  2. 4 stars? Coach Amir goes for 5 stars-- 5 star work ethic and 5 star character combined with 5 star coaching. Just watch his latest video on Twitter
  3. He reaches alot on defense (and gets away with it) which will need to be corrected in college; however, I love someone who wants to play defense and gets after it. We can't play 13 guys and sometimes you need a "draft and stash" guy that you can develop. Reid won't be here forever so it's nice to have a backup who can hopefully become our floor general in the future. Welcome to the Bulls! LFG!!!
  4. I remember Temple with Coach Chaney. He was such a fiery coach and then sent in his 15th man into a game to foul/punish an opposing player and start a fight. He was a legend. I thought Aaron McKie was a good hire for Temple but it didn't pan out. There is serious talent in Philly but they just haven't recaptured the magic of the past.
  5. Bummer... Hopefully we can get another quality big. We seem set at guard and wing players. I'm already wondering how Coach is going to keep all these guys happy with playing time.
  6. Have you attended any cool events for your monthly contribution? If so, what were they? I would love to hear about your experience with the collective. I might join for $10. I was going to go $100 but with the lack of transparency, it makes sense to do $10 and enjoy the private events.
  7. Yeah, we need Pancho's assessment! Long live Pancho!
  8. If it’s 94%, that’s very encouraging. They should be advertising that.
  9. Interesting but it's a dream that will never come true. Just being honest.
  10. I am not asking for much from Fowler Ave. I just want to know how much of the money is going towards the players (a rough estimate is fine) and sports teams, and I do recognize that employees need to be paid. I have no problem with Fowler Ave. taking their "cut" but I think it would be wise for them to be more transparent with the fan base in order to generate more revenue. There are many fans who refuse to donate to the NIL Collective-- I understand how they feel and I have no problems with their stance. But there is another group of fans who are on the fence and I think Fowler Ave. is doing a disservice by being shady and ignoring emails. I believe there are many people like myself who would be willing to donate $50-100/month (a lot of small fish together can make a difference). I know my $1,200 a year doesn't amount to much but if 100 fans did it, we now have 100K for someone like Reid. That's my two cents. I think the opportunity is there but I have been unimpressed so far...
  11. I couldn't agree more. It was a bad example. I would argue that Memphis has improved (on paper) and UAB will be a handful, but I think USF has done very well. The other teams in the conference have mostly lost their top players to the portal without replacing them.
  12. I asked very simple questions and received no response. I will not be donating to any organization that doesn’t respond to emails.
  13. Get on the train!!!! Choo chooooo! When Jimmie lights it up, you better remember Pancho!
  14. I thought I’d get a quick response. Maybe they’re getting so much money that they don’t need mine.
  15. I‘m not impressed by Fowler Ave. I wrote them an email with some questions and no response. I am ready to give $100/month but I need some communication and assurance. No one seems to have numbers to share.
  16. I would agree with you. We'll probably be picked 3rd in the conference but we'll have some opportunities to pick up big wins over Memphis/UAB for our tournament resume. I also think scheduling will be a lot stronger out of conference so those will be fun to watch as well. We have a very talented team and I like that we are very athletic. We're going to get after it.
  17. Yeah, something tells me he's not playing anywhere.
  18. Penn State Football uses Lackawanna College (JUCO) as like a farm system and gets many great players from there (several of them were picked in the NFL Draft and one played in the Super Bowl this past year). I am from PA so I keep up with the football program. There are many reasons why athletes go to junior college. It may not be the greatest competition BUT there are very talented players that can help us. I am surprised Jimmie Williams didn't get recruited harder by P5 schools. He's 6'5" (okay, maybe 6'3" so coaches lie all the time but it's not like he's 5'9") and can rebound. Those P5 schools better stay away next season when they see what Coach Amir saw.
  19. I love the videos. Coach is a genius marketer! Keep them coming!
