  1. I wish him a speedy recovery. It is very sad news.
  2. Come on! North Florida?! Really? *shaking my head*
  3. What was the tweet? I thought 1.5 million was low. Part-time staff, not volunteers
  4. John Calipari is going the other route. He wants 7 or 8 guys. He says he's not developing players for the "next team". He can keep 8 guys happy, but he can't keep 13 guys happy. I understand the logic. If you are worried about injuries and depth... well, if you have that many injuries, you aren't winning it all anyway.
  5. I understand what you're saying but I know I am in a different financial situation than some of the players. I don't know the background of these players but I would guess that some of them come from very little money. I think I have a bigger issue with guys transferring two or three times and making it a spectacle. If you transfer 3 times, the problem isn't the coaches or teammates or playing style, it's you. I am kind of excited about the "new era". Yes, I wish our best players would stay but it's exciting to recruit new guys and learn about them. I know I get tired of watching the same guys for 4 years. Just my two cents.
  6. I don't know how the AAC works, but the Big Ten distributes revenue EQUALLY to all teams. I would imagine it's the same for the AAC.
  7. Correction: 92% of the funds go to athletes. Corey also mentioned that rules have loosened and coaches are becoming more involved so hopefully that leads to more events.
  8. I have been very hard on Fowler Ave for not responding to emails. Having said that, I received a personal email from Corey Staniscia today apologizing and answering my questions. He mentioned that 94% of funds go towards the athletes and $1.5 million has been given to athletes so far. I appreciated the gesture. I realize it's only a start but I will contribute $10/month to see how things go and re-assess. I feel like Fowler Ave needs more help to service contributors but I felt like Corey made things right and is trying. Take it for what it's worth but I wanted to share my experience today.
  9. So new STH could have an increase or will they stay the same as well?
  10. Prices haven’t come out yet unless I missed something.
  11. True. I just wish it was a longer extension but sometimes schools back themselves into a corner with long contracts. Mel Tucker, John Calipari (lifetime didn't mean lifetime), etc. I believe in CAAR and hope he finds his home here for a while. Only time will tell.
  12. Yes, I agree. I believe he is carefully weighing his options and will pick a school soon.
  13. It was a one-year extension. Not that the 10-year contract kept Dusty May around...
  14. I hear what you’re saying and I agree, but he’s taking the $$$ and he is not coming back. Stop giving yourself false hope.
  15. Go Bulls!!! I’m sure season ticket prices will increase more than we think…
  16. While I agree with this 100%, Pryor is gone. Be happy for him and let’s focus on this team.
  17. He has a huge list of offers and it’s an impressive list. He’s not coming back
  18. That doesn’t surprise me if TT pulled NIL money. Lots of shady business. USF will never be able to compete with NIL money as long as Fowler Ave doesn’t return emails.
  19. I think you are vastly underrating the bromance!!! It’s special.
