Beating big east teams, the best basketball conference in the country at that time.

Thanks Brad.

Would you guys rather win the AAC and be slightly lower ranked or finish midlevel of the old BE with a higher rating at the end of the season?

How much did puc pay to ask that?

The answer is the second, because it would mean we'd still be in the Big East ...

I'm not as close to the battle lines around here so that wentbover my head.

I think you side stepped my question.

To make it more generic, would you like to win a lesser conference or finish mid-tier in a top level conference?

Which season would you consider more successful?

I'm going to share my opinion, I think winning a conference is vastly more significant. No one gives a s*** about where you finish in the Big 10, Big East etc if you're not number one.

When I say "no one" I mean no one in the real world, not on these forums.

Very good question.

While I would love seeing a regular season conference championship, there is something about playing in a conference like the Big East when we were in it.

I think if I'm reading this right, he means just a one off season. I think everyone would prefer to still be in the Big East.

Me personally give me the conference championship if they both come with the ncaa bid.

It was great hosting Syracuse, UConn, Villanova, Georgetown, Pitt, WV, Louisville, ND, Cinci, Seton Hall, and DePaul. Rutgers was a pain in the neck, or maybe lower.
