I only started following USF when the football program started.  I have heard you guys wax poetic over the years so I would love to hear your take now.

Their best regular season was 1975-76 when they had a .706 winning percentage. If they win two more games, they will beat that.  Their best tournament run was in 2012. I guess the question is what do you call the best season?  Was it that?  Was it winning the CBI?

That one is easy. Beating Cal and Temple in the NCAAT after getting a bunch of big wins against Big East teams including getting that big win against Louisville on the road. That year was amazing. Want to see us do it again.

Love the CBI year for the circumstances surrounding the turnaround of going from a legit dumpster fire to a 20+ win, tourney winning season, don't give a **** about the sos, in 2 years ....... but it would be down on the best season list.

All NCAAT Teams seasons rank ahead of anything else the CBI and NIT Temas are rated next....after that not much left to talk about.  Where this team ends up is still to be determined.  But the 2012 team is still on Top and will be until some team goes farther

Yea, I agree. I would go even as far as saying that for this year just making it to the NCAAT and having an early exit would in my eyes be more successful than winning the NIT tournament.

Having said that this team is good enough to make it to the tournament a win some games.

It looked like a bunch of 52 to 46 games with Anthony Collins dribbling for most of the shot clock and then lobbing it up to Victor Rudd dropping out of the rafters.
