I know this is great for BB, and am really happy for him.

Should we be concerned about his future with USF?

We have him this year but like everyone nowadays, all bets are off during the portal signing period.  Win now because the future will always remain cloudy.

My two thoughts:

1. Anyone good at a G5 should always be considered as a risk to be poached by a larger program.

2. I would rather him sign NIL deals while he is with us.

Exactly. Technically he could still transfer out after spring or in summer , but I don't see him doing that. Crazier things have happened though like Sanders making more per year than most nfl qbs while winning four fbs games.

Not surprised at all. Does not bode well for us if he has a big year.

He should have a huge year feasting on weak AAC defenses. Hope Izzy is ready to takeover in 2025.

I am going to sound like a broken record but can we stop with the thinking that this is a G5 thing?

https://n.rivals.com/transfer_tracker/football/2024?transfer_position=qb

not personal to you but it's just every freaking thread about coaching or NIL, this insistence that all P5 programs have all their problems solved and woe is us for being in the G5... it's just not true.

Brian Kelly left a winning ND program to go to the SEC. Jim H goes from Michigan, wins a natty, and goes to the NFL.

QB Dillon Gabriel crushes it at Oklahoma and here comes bigger fish Oregon poaching him.

If we got an SEC invite today, any talented individual would always be at risk up because there will ALWAYS be a bigger fish.

Let's also not assume they're gone either, because sometimes, folks do want to pass on an extra few bucks and enjoy the culture and legacy they can build.

I think on net this is good for USF -  it shows if you are good and put in the work you can get the NIL attention like anyone else out there.

Good for BB. Let's go 13 and freaking 0 this year baby and then, next f***n man up and next f*****n play
