You see the dropoff when BB is out. Injury is one play away. Wright is good in the goal line situation but reminds me of the Ben Williams era. We dont want quitters. He wouldn't make the needle move much for the offense compared to our current RBs. Haha, it takes a stronger person to forgive. The way I would approach it is, IF Battie reached out and wanted to come back; address the team about it. CAG has done a masterful job year one, the team bought in and were rewarded. If the team says no, then don’t extend an offer; if the team says “I love this dude, bring him back!” Then do it. I personally wouldn’t bring him back, but if he was a great teammate and the team wants him back, then it won’t hurt the culture at all.

But like you, no way I would make the first phone call.

He wasn't posing with pictures rubbing it in our face like Timmy. I would take all those guys back.
Cubanbull Posted January 2 Group: Member Topic Count: 295 Content Count: 6,820 Reputation: 1,090 Days Won: 22 Joined: 12/23/2001 Share Posted January 2 I can see both sides Side 1: No you don’t take him back, it sends signal to rest of players, you can look elsewhere and we will take you back if it doesn’t work out. Side2: It’s a whole new world, players are free agents every year, would you not take back a player that would make you better? Doesn’t it shows the team that the grass isn’t greener elsewhere?
