Not to burst your bubble to the GOAT of USF BULLS, but I add to the question what good is a red shirt in today’s college football landscape? Yes play who we can albeit the portal. This is a great and needed answered question from the coach.

I agree. I think he will see this game as a way to set a tone, or send a message. A bowl game and bowl win should help with retention and recruiting efforts. Plus, I think he wants a winning record and bowl win in his first season.

I was trying to figure out this game, I can get it at plus 3.5 Bulls but the Vig went to 15% so it is getting ready to move lower.  I think we are playing this like a playoff game to try to generate some excitement going into recruiting season. @TexanMark, I am a fellow Texan named Mark, so hook a brother up, what is your take? Will Syracuse come down ready to play or lay an egg?

I think the guys coming back next year will play hard.  However it is always a crapshoot to predict how teams will react after a coaching change.  It appears only one coach is being retained. It will be interesting what the dynamics of the old staff vs the new incoming staff.

Well Shrader is TBD for QB

I suspect we'll play Vallari mostly.

Used to live in Hill Country and San Antonio.  Been in Florida since 2016.

1. Why not. He needs to evaluate as much talent as he can with all those recruits he is bringing in.
