Y'all would complain that money smelled funny if you were given a bunch of it.

But only if it smelled funny...money (in my experience) does not smell funny. Maybe some of the one's laying around Mons or Odyssey, but sadly I do not have much recent first hand knowledge.

We just got bad news dumped on us (our stadium is delayed for a year), and they put together 3 or 4 pretty pictures of what a stadium might look like at night to show us so that we'd have something shiny to be excited about.  If you really think about it, we aren't any closer to "renderings" than we were before this meeting.  True renderings would be much more detailed views of every angle of the stadium.  There would be computer-simulated flyover and walk-up animations, etc.  We just got a couple of pics to keep us hooked.

Don't get me wrong--I'm very happy this project is happening, and I was happy to see a schedule with dates on it for upcoming milestones.   Also thankful for the Champions Way design and donation.  But other than that, it seems like the "one year delay" is the most concrete thing that came out of the meeting. 

I can wait another year, but please no more delays.

Can you imagine if it ends up being metal bleachers, the exact thing we chastised the clown college to the east about?  I guess all the talk about waiting to do stuff the right way goes out the window....

Can imagine some of the visitor side and end zones being bleachers. that is where first expansion probably will be - except student section.

Yeah when I look at this "cheap looking" visitor side, I think that's where the expansion would go at some point.
