You are correct, the object of the sport of football is to win games.

However, you have to admit that this team (which is lacking talent) is showing a different fight when compared to last years team under CJS who has more talent to work with.

I had this game slated as a loss at the beginning of the season and to be completely honest, I had this game slated as a loss Saturday morning.

Just wait until we get some fresh talent and depth in the door, and I guarantee under this staff we will see a consistently winning team.  Its just hard to imagine since we all have ptsd from the last 5 seasons.

Honestly, it just hasn’t really been a complete game. one side performs but the other doesn’t

Dang, I knew in my head that the Memphis game was not going to go our way.  Away game and their proven record of success. Still, I wasn't going to give up on the possible upset.  And we could've done it.  Argh!  I want to run this conference as we're stuck here.  Win 'em all.

Anyway, I'm moving on to Temple game and it looks like a must-win.

Exactly! USF showed much improvement in another shootout game yesterday. The first shootout out type games didn’t go so well against WKU, UAB, & FAU. I expect we will probably see one more shootout game this season which should be against UTSA. Think USF should be able to handle both Temple & Charlotte.

You were correct both times.

If CAG can get the best recruiting class in the G5 this year, that will be major. He's on pace for that this year. Win the conference next year and I would like to see him land some 4 stars for 2025 and out recruit FSU and UF on a few guys to build upon the momentum and set the stage for a natty run in a few years. It's time to be who we say we are and if we eventually want to be a national championship contender, you need to start winning recruitment battles with the big boys in state. That's where it starts.
