If it's a playoff game to get into the first bowl game in forever, I imagine we would hulk up.

Offensively Charlotte has been verry poor. If we dont beat Temple and Charlotte we will have underachieved and it will be disappointing.

I think we will win both. Need to finish the season on a strong note

Both have me nervous with the defense we have.

The issue is that if we lose to Charlotte or Temple, we are losing to the bottom fourth of college football teams again. We should be beating these teams. Ironically, we got blown out by UAB, which is ranked below USF. Rice is the only team we have beaten that is ranked above USF, and they are two spots above USF at 104.

UAB-109   It was a pathetic showing that we got blown and exploited on defense and got outcoached.

Memphis-38 Played a close game. We could have won if it wasn't for terrible refing (fumble or tackle on WR not called for PI) and questionable decisions on 4th down inside our own 20.

BAMA-8   We played a close game, but they had their backup QBS playing, which sucked. They just ran at USF to win in the fourth and took advantage of broken coverage for a few deep balls.

So we can rise to the occasion and play with the top 50 teams, but we are getting blown out and allowing 50+ points against teams ranked slightly above and below USF. This is a major concern, and the coaches and team need to fix it.

We have the following three teams left: Temple, UTSA, and Charlotte.

I hope we beat the teams we are supposed to beat and play a good game against UTSA, perhaps even finally getting an upset win this year. The good news is that we have had three wins where we made adjustments at halftime and came back to win.

What the f is a shootout game?  If your defense stops the other team it isn't a shootout. You win by 30+.

Being a bad offense is more than just not having good players. It's repeatedly shooting yourself in the foot with penalties and turnovers. 

Charlotte doesn't have a Lajohntay wester who can break open a game for them and they've fumbled the ball 11 times this year, while they average 7 penalties per game. You keep getting them behind schedule like we tend to do and it won't be an issue. Competent offenses have scored on them this year. 

Regardless we need to go beat Temple this week before we do anything else.
