Do you guys use a instapot for your rice or do it on the stove top?

I could be a spokesman this week because I don’t like Rice.  I don’t like it at all. I don’t even like it with my Mexican food. I always get  double a different side.   Trip might say it’s because I’m an elitist and it’s just a staple or basic grain, and that may be true.

Oh, and a food school? That’s worse than a directional school (except Enchilada Univ).  GTFO Rice.  You can’t even keep up with the refried beans.  They’ve been refried and still kick your ass.

After watching a couple of Rice games I think the most disconcerting thing we can do is have people in the stands.  Their attendance makes our usual turnout look like New Year's Eve at Times Square.

Since this is turning into a cooking thread… When you prep veggies, tomatoes, onions, etc. EVERYTHING you cut off, throw it in a gallon freezer baggie. When it’s full, boil it for 20 minutes or so. Drain/strain the broth. Use that instead of just water for your RICE. You’ll never make it any other way again.

Rice has a great QB, also they have not only Sean Taylor’s little brother but also Christian McCafferty’s lil bro.  They are decent however nothing like their predecessors. This is a huge game, win it and we believe we can contest for the conference title, lose it and we are back to the same ole ****. This is our season, can we show up and show out or do we fold like a cheap tent, to say this game is pivotal is an understatement.

Can’t you just buy vegetable broth instead of boiling a frozen bag of compost pile?

In an Eddie Murphy’s voice: “ that tastes too much like rice”.   (That sound too much like ****)
