Sure but this is a sports gossip board.  Fans like to compare eras and what ifs.  

For example, I think what we are seeing is a kind of attitude and grit we haven't seen since back then.  It doesn't mean they are at all the same eras.  I would call it a compliment that people are even comparing these.

Most people are like that on most things; it makes for good conversations.  I know I am constantly doing it on all things ranging from  past girl friends, film directors, anime, video games, k pop eras,..

but usually you need more then 3 games to compare and contrast

People that care about usf and because we have been consistently garbage since morons thought we should get rid of him because moving to bcs, beating top 25 teams, getting to #2 in the national and being a part of the national conversation were all not enough for the first 12 years of a program.
