Only way we could play faster is run hurry up and take a knee all three downs.

How about all 4 downs and just let them have the ball and score quickly?

Honest question - why does playing "fast" seem to correlate to improved execution over time? It seems that teams that play "fast" often significantly increase offensive production within only a year or two.

I recognize that talent and coaching also play big parts, but I wonder if there's also a psychological component here? If I'm a player on offense and I know we're going to play "fast," maybe I'm spending more time in the playbook/working harder in practice to make sure I understand all the wrinkles of that play, so I can operate more from muscle memory when the time comes?

Maybe there's a big learning curve at first (season one), but once you've got it, you've got it and can focus on execution? Just seems like CAG at least helped to engineer significant turnarounds in only one or two seasons. Gives me some optimism for both this year and next.

That's one way to protect the QBs.

That does kinda make sense. If you, as a player, can't keep up, you ain't playing ..... kind of a weeding out process, hopeful that the ones who CAN  play fast can play fast well enough to win games ...
