From the Brown INT to allowing Alabama kill off nearly the entire clock with a game-closing TD (and a dreadful 4th down penalty in between) - I'd say you couldn't close out a game much worse. Alabama is one of the most consistently disciplined teams in CFB and rarely gets beaten by their own mistakes. USF has a ways to go, the offsides on Alabama last possession being a prime example. We had some predictable play calls and bad QB decisions as well.

They're stacked with 5 star talent. We held.them at bay. We made some dumb mistakes. Our QB is a 19 year old freshman. The team is obviously improving. It's annoying reading your posts. You constantly say negative stuff no matter what. This team has been hot garbage for years now. The fact that they only lost by 14 to Alabama is so much better than what anyone was expecting.

Weird we have no offense when our two best WRs are getting 150 yards a game at Colorado and our RB is at Auburn. New paradigm I know, just hard to swallow. Another moral victory

I’ve seen worst from USF. I don’t think this was it. That said, I understand what you just said.

Now a lot of that is because it was Alabama. Offensive line wasn’t great but probably did better than I expected. BB was very inaccurate and made many bad decisions. RB did pretty good. WR may now be the worst group on the team. They can’t catch or get open. Play calling I felt was too vanilla.

I’ll miss that when he retires. Glad USF got him flustered.
