scott was awful. not going to argue otherwise but the only difference between scott and strong was that scott wasn't left with a loaded roster.

Scott has players who could play at other schools. He couldn’t coach and utilize those assets. Have you seen where our transfers went? Charlie just didn’t GAF till it was too late. I unfortunately watched him many games and yelled at him for not caring. Scott by far was the worst, how caring led to the crappiest play we’ve seen at USF.

How many of those transfers were on the defensive side of the ball and to upgraded schools ....? CJS's failure here can, not entirely but almost, be pinned on one side of the ball.

We keep hiring the wrong former FAU DC.

I often wonder what would have happened if Chuckles had put in the effort and we pulled the perfect season in 2017, including a conference championship and BCS bowl win

Maybe Nebraska takes Charlie as opposed to Frost (Charlie would have been a hot target) and we get Heupel?

Chances are that with a better finish in 2017, we miss CJS altogether

I hear you. Our defense was the garbage can.

I’m in agreement with you. He wasn’t looking to stay at USF. I wish he would have been plucked away and we could have continued having winning seasons leading into a OCS.

The other fun hypothetical is if USF somehow convinced Willie to stay for 2017 - then we miss both Chuckles and Scott

Should’ves, Would’ves and Could’ves I guess

We will never know but willy has failed miserably since be left usf.  Now imagine if we never got rid of Leavitt and Leroy didn't pass away where we could be?
