With the collapse of the Pac-12, does the AAC move into P-5?

This all hurts us.

The playoffs will no longer be top 6 conference Champs first of all

MWC also has chance to get stronger and leave AAC behind

This is quite negative. We are on the wrong side of the widening gulf in college football.

The way things are we will never make or win a playoff game, the whole trajectory of this **** show has changed.  I simply want to win more than one ******* game every 3 years, baby steps, we are like a 300lb women with a bad weave expecting to land a rap star, let’s slow our roll *******.

With exception of three posters here, we’re not obnoxious enough to hold that designation.

MEC has Boise, SDSU as the top two, then Fresno state has an occasionally good yea.

Sunbelt has been decent as of late.

AAC is the only conference to crash the playoffs.

I still think we have the best path to the CFP, but we are farther from a p5 conference than ever

Let's think about that for a second. The "we" I keep hearing about...the AAC as an entity. The conference. Do we care more about USF or do we care more about the Conference? Or do we care, overall, about the conference anyway? How much pride is there to be had if the "conference" reps vis-a-vis the CFP? Does having some conference member in the playoffs really mean much if that team isn't U of SF? I don't think so. I'm having a real hard time envisioning U of SF as desirable property given the current state of realignment.

If you had to pick between Conference Crapola in perpetuity, and greater potentail access to the CFP or take up residence in the lower rung of Conference Utopia and never sniffing the CFP, which would it be? 🤨

Kinda reminds me a little of a perennial back and forth I had with charsibb, winning the NIT or one and done in the Big Dance. If we had a time traveling Delorean and could see that we would NEVER even sniff the CFP in CU, give me the uncertainty of the potential in the CC.
