With the collapse of the Pac-12, does the AAC move into P-5?

Yeah I've been thinking about this ****. You know **** well it's going to be relabeled now as the POWER 4. I'll put it like this, the fact that the PAC12 couldn't get a decent TV contract with the teams they had already leads me to believe that there is no way in hell they can preserve their status even if they add a whole army of schools.

And yes I'm pissed. We are in a terrible predicament. MUST WIN. Failure is not an option.

Because the other conferences got bigger 'separating the wheat from the chaff'.

So toppling conferences and consolidating power to then just give it away to the even weaker and less powerful isn’t a sound strategy? Maybe they are bored

This all hurts us.

The playoffs will no longer be top 6 conference Champs first of all

MWC also has chance to get stronger and leave AAC behind

This is quite negative. We are on the wrong side of the widening gulf in college football.

I'm trying to find a silver lining but ...

This should work out well for the MWC and likely not so well for us stuck here in the American.  Maybe more exit fees for the American.  There's that.

Jim probably feels that way to seeing Judy, university leadership, and the coaches ran this  football program into the ground.

My main concern is that all of these posts could have been counted towards the realignment thread. What a waste
