Now let’s start thinking of how the investment by USF will eventually attract more donors as they visit the OCS. This can help all across campus imo. Think of all the businesses going up around the OCS that will generate revenue for many. This is great news and it has something that I have been crying for since 1998 lol

Glad there is an explanation in that article.

The other $140 million will come from the school. Here’s the breakdown, according to the agenda item:

· $50 million from the USF Foundation

· $31 million from the capital improvement trust fund

· $34 million from auxiliary funds and proceeds from the 2017 auction of TV broadband

· $25 million in cash, contingent on closing a sale of broadband license

This is what happens when I post as I read instead of going through all the pages before posting.

Just curious, Is there a possibility that some of that money came from the BE era and was actually set aside for this purpose?

Good point! And aren't we getting money from UCF, Houston, and Cincy in exit fees?

So 10,000 "scholarship" seating are non-club seats that require a capital gift/initial license per the chart below which identifies the pricing for such seats.  Also, they've only allocated 6,000 seats to students which I think is proper at over 17-18% of all seats.

Excellent find. Thank you. I think I’m going to end up buying tickets in multiple locations.

They build this then I will purchase Club seats to make sure I pitch in for the cost.

Maybe. Maybe some of it is coming from  all the payouts from the schools that have left USF’s conference lol

Wouldn’t this be the ultimate middle finger to UCF, they pay us to go to B12, we use the money to build a new, quality, state of the art stadium that helps us get into the ACC!!! One can hope.

One thing to note if I'm reading the chart correctly.  My tier 3 club seats now cost $600 per seat.  This would increase to $2,750 each??  That seems like quite a jump though I understand the inventory is substantially reduced for club access.  Oh well, no air conditiong here I come!
