I'm so sorry to read this and will be praying for comfort for his family and others close to him.

If someone can check for when/if a service will be held, I'd like to see it posted so we can attend and also look for where we can donate in his memory.

I will make the board aware of that as soon as that information is out. I am also planning on doing some stuff in his honor that will definitely benefit the people in Ukraine and honor him and his daughter.

Thanks.  He sure led his life by his beliefs and I’m glad he was able to share some of his experiences with us.  Prayers and love to his family.

His daughter Penelope (penny) was his only child and is currently just 11 years old.  JR was an avid poster here on the site and after awhile got me hooked as well for a time. I met JR when he gotten seats next to us in 2008 in section 239. I was about 11 years old at the time and I always looked forward to see my buddy as the bulls took the field. I'm sure most of you remember as well he came to this board for support as he went to go over to Ukraine. He was astonished by the support he received from this community and hadn't witnessed something like that before in his life. As one of his close friends I wish to thank you all for the support you have given him and the opportunity that you we're able to have in his life. I hope one day to gaze upon heavens seen and see him guarding the street of heaven among the many United States Marines. 

 

I'll keep the board posted on funeral arrangements when I have been informed.

Wow. This confused the hell out of me. Thought his name was Jimmy. Only knew him as JR.

He's named after his dad. Jim. JR's actual name is Jimmy Roy Huddleston.
