I’m not going to kill anyone I just don’t know how we would balance her needing trivial things like food, medicine, exercise and grooming with me needing to do important things like making spreadsheets that show CSH’s stint at LA Tech wasn’t exactly successful.

But either someone at the hospital or with the doctor's office told us that many of those places aren't as good as the patient being home. you are a great husband

They have lots. I have special eating utensils due to my tremors. They have auto-leveling spoons and forks, hand stabilizing gloves - lots of stuff that might help. Heck, I can even eat soup now, although everyone else needs to wear a smock when I do... By our age, our wives have already had occasion to be our caregiver, for sure. I am praying for both of you. 1

It has been 1/4 of a year since the accident. Went to the doctor today. Bones in wrist and heel are mostly healed but the heel isn't lined up perfectly. She may be able to live with it as it is. We really don't want to go through another operation. She was put in a walking boot and will finally start to put some weight on it - a little at a time. Just to put that in perspective, if you are sitting while reading this imagine not being able to get up until sometime in August. Couldn't use crutches or knee scooter because of the broken wrist. We appreciate all the good thoughts, prayers, karma sent by you guys and ask that you keep them coming. Below are pics from 1/26 (surgery placing all the pins was done 2 days after the accident) and today.
