Realistically  we got 11 chances next year to get a win.  We need the players and coaches to step up. Any slight improvement on defense and mediocre improvement from the coaching staff will earn usf some wins.

I am thinking that 2029 Notre Dame game will definitely be at RayJay

I would think it may not say those exact words, but may say something like USF must provide the right to purchase up to 15,000 tickets or some number that is too high to accommodate on campus. I would think even 10,000 would make it tough, but who knows unless you read the contracts.

Special tailgating accommodations may be required.

Sorry but no big-name program or UCF.

This needs to be a guaranteed win. No one outside USF would fault us for picking a lightweight to open a season in a new stadium, so let’s not do anything to screw it up ourselves.

This has been waited on for too long and it has to be close to perfect to start the season off right and start a new era for our program (but I hope we start an era of winning more than losing sooner than that).

I think about all the people who never went to a USF basketball game or followed college football that went to the inaugural game and suddenly were season ticket holders and remained so for very long.

So yeah - I want to spend the game walking around or soaking in the scenery from my new season ticket seats, getting to know my new neighbors, and standing to cheer (a lot) when we score again and again.

No drama - just a nice night in the new digs.

good question. is 2026 still a realistic opening date considering we haven't heard anything new for about a month and a half?

So we would have to rent a stadium for one game just to accommodate Notre Dame? How much would that even cost? I think our new OCS should hold around 40,000- 45,000, so still plenty  of room for their fans. Either way for the future we should no longer make such arrangements and I don't care who the team is. If they want to play us they should play us at our OCS, unless they fork up the payment for the stadium rental.

I’m thinking either 2026 or 2027
