This is also relevant for Tampa Bay.  Coach Go hasn't ventured beyond Portillo's yet though.

I don't understand going to Portillo's for anything other than the Italian Beef sandwich. Still haven't had one of their hot dogs.

thats changing with the younger generation that has grown up with football in Tampa.

https://public.tableau.com/app/profile/matt.sorenson/viz/CollegeFootballFollowerMap/CollegeFootballMap

28,500 people in Hillsborough county follow an FBS football team on twitter.

42.3% of those follow USF

18.6% FSU

15.2% UF

6.4% UCF

To be honest, that's almost irrelevant when talking about a local "newspaper", isn't it. That would look vastly different if it was a breakdown of the FBS teams people who subscribe to the TBT follow or even just people in the area, subscribers or not, follow ..... I'm guessing UF has the largest following, with the oldest overall demographics and that demographic are the dinosaurs still reading local "newspapers".

Love the bullshield in the background.  Wish we used that logo more

For some reason, I think that logo’s great for the soccer teams but not so much anything else.

It does have a soccer feel to it, but I would still like to see it used on the field somewhere

Maybe on the opposite side from the AAC logo, but that probably would not happen until the OCS opens

Basically, other than the conference logos, we have been using the same paint scheme on the field since at least 2005 - time to change it up?

The Italian Beef sandwiches are good. I usually get one of those plus a Chicago dog plus chicken fingers plus chocolate cake. Then I am usually set…

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
