End of story. I see lots of TE, QB, and OL commits. Remains to be seen if tomorrow is any different. Exactly! Just need an average defense at best & I think we win 6 or more games as long as the offense continues

If, and that's a big IF, we close on the few high school prospects that people are projecting we'll close on, and the class finishes in the top 65 or better, it could end up being the best class we've seen since the #42-ranked 2014 class. We'll obviously have to see how other schools between us and the top 60 shake out to see how far we move up, but given where the class was before and during the first week or two after he was hired, I'd say Golesh is doing just fine. He's easily the second best December, new coach recruiter we've ever had. https://www.si.com/more-sports/2010/02/11/usf-holtz

A couple years from now you could hopefully make a case he crushed it this year, fingers crossed, but just don’t see anything remotely qualifying that assessment now ……. unless you’re just a CJS hater and still feebly trying to toss dirt on that grave. I also think that the talent on defense last year was not as bad as they performed. But they were so poorly coached and prepared. It was amazing. They were constantly out of position and looked confused even at the end of the year. I’m not sure that you can point to game with the defense actually strung together two or three good series in a row. I’m hoping that this coaching staff can actually coach, motivate and prepare players Edited January 31, 2023 by MaBull Typo

I know it looks only at high school recruits so just take it as one point of data. Point being that recruiting is not better this year then under Scott or Strong. Doesn't mean there isn't enough talent to win, and hopefully coach Golesh is a better coach then Stong and Scott. Rivals Ranking since 2015 below; 2015: 58th 2016: 70th 2017 69th 2018: 58th 2019: 65th 2020: don't see us in the top 100 2021: 60th 2022: 87th 2023: 90th
